Local Food Audit

It has been an enlightening and enjoyable experience sourcing and meeting local food producers. If you are, or soon plan to be, a food producer in the area, please contact Anne (above) to be included on the list. Hopefully the list, provided under Document Resources  will grow as the need is great.

This local provision and consumption of food is central to changes that Transition Towns is seeking to promote. The gains are: a reduction in food miles; fresher, healthier food: support for local producers

Sell your home grown vegies

The Cobago Bazaar will take homegrown chemical free or organic vegies for sale on consignment. Call Ray on mobile 0407 170 577 for details or email : mountainvegies(at)gmail.com

Once this is established perhaps we (TTTPlus) could provide a weekly(?) delivery service so a call to Ray could activate an order & delivery. Maybe by the proposed  bio-diesel bus if it gets out of the starting blocks.
