- She was a little overweight but had a high waist circumference which was of concern. In eight weeks she lost 9cm off her waist - an amazing result. She writes:
- I haven't had to make any huge changes so it's been relatively easy to get through this first milestone. The initial consultation with you was a great motivator. I was shocked to realise how far my waist measurement was outside the healthy range. I've tried to reduce my processed carbs and have introduced lots of pulses - especially in soups and curries. - This guy increased his exercise to help manage his diabetes, but didn't want to change his diet. The continued rise in blood sugar levels spurred him to rethink his appproach. A minor change to his diet caused a major physical change - namely, one day, his pants fell down!
- Her busy schedule and lack of understanding of dietary habits had contributed to steady weight gain. Her metabolic age was much higher than her. A bit of self-realisation, a few small dietary changes and a new approach to structuring good food and exercise into her day were the first steps in her journey to positive change.
