During August Batemans Bay High School, Moruya High School, Narooma High School and Eden High School participated in the Cows Create Careers project which aims to promote career interest in the Dairy Industry.
Two calves were delivered to each of the schools by local dairy farmers who assisted the students in feeding and monitoring the calves for a 3 week period. Students prepared projects which were submitted to the organisers in a competition. A Presentation Day will be conducted later in the year.
Cows Create Careers is an Adopt a School project under the Australian Government's Career Advice Australia initiative.
