History and Background

The Moruya Showground is located in Albert St Moruya and is the only showground within the Eurobodalla Shire.  The main entrance is from Albert St or a five minute walk via the 'Pink Gates' and Golf Course from the Moruya CBD.  The Showground is part of a Crown Land Trust and is listed on the State Heritage Register.  It was dedicated as a showground in 1913.

The showground is managed by the Moruya Showground Management Committee which is a committee of the Eurobodalla Shire Council, made up of representatives of Council and the users groups.
