A brief history
The Rotary Club of Batemans Bay was founded on June 10, 1960. At the time Batemans Bay was a growing fishing and timber village, with a small band of businessmen wanting to serve their community. The ideals of Rotary provided this opportunity and at it's charter night on August 13, 1960 the club began with twenty two members. Since that time it has attracted to it's ranks men and women of high character and commitment.
