Hey Hey – Welcome to mountain biking in the Eurobodalla. For some time many members have travelled to various races both near and far. This time it was our turn to host a race and did so with a very successful Maulbrooks Madness – with the outstanding assistance of our friends at CORC.

The Maulbrooks Mountain Bike Park will officially open in the near future once permanent signs and a trail header etc are put in place. There will be a variety of trails and loops that can be joined to suit any standard of rider.

The race loop selected for the first race gave a good variety of the main trails and allowed the field to spread so both experienced riders and new comers could easily enjoy their respective races at the same time.

We had plenty of members at the pointy end of their categories although the relaxed atmosphere made for participation being as important as anything. The specifically created kids loop gave the youngsters a chance to burn some energy whilst mum and/or dad rode the longer loop.

There will be future events at the course which have yet to be finalised and we will work in with our neighbouring clubs to bring the coast riders together with the bigger numbers from Canberra.
