The Transition Towns group "TrianglePLus" was formed by members of the communities between Bermagui, Quaama & Tilba and adjacent localities.

Our objective is to advocate and facilitate changes in Our local communities to meet the challenges posed by Climate Change and Peak Oil. Peak Oil predicts a deminishing oil supply combined with an increasing demand that forces fuel shortages and rising prices as we are currently seeing now.

Our Transition Town group formed to share thoughts and discuss ways of making our community more aware of the changes that are necessary to ensure we succesfully engage these challenges. By increasing local food production, reducing our energy use, and improving the efficiency of our transport. All agreed, the three key areas to focus on are: Food, Energy and Transport.

This requires all our participation, with ideas and applications, so look further and join in.
